A soldier of the army dies during a military instruction in Zaragoza

BarcelonaA soldier of the army has died during an instruction activity at the San Gregorio training ground, in Zaragoza, for causes that are being investigated, according to what the Ministry of Defense reported this Sunday. In its statement, the Army headquarters expressed its "deep sorrow" for the death and conveyed its "sincere condolences" and its "unconditional support" to the soldier's family and colleagues.

The Spanish Troop and Mariner Association (ATME) has also regretted the death of the military member and has conveyed its condolences to the family, friends, and colleagues of the unit, to whom it has made itself available for whatever they may need. The association recalled that military personnel exercise a high-risk profession that, in its opinion, is not sufficiently recognized, and it lamented the consequences that these tragedies have for their family members and friends.

The deceased soldier, identified by the initials F.J.G.J., had joined the army in 2018.
