A man dies drowned on Palamós beach

 A 78-year-old man died this Thursday drowned on Gran beach in Palamós (Baix Empordà), bringing to 19 the number of swimmers who have died this summer on the Catalan coast, according to reports from Civil Protection. The victim felt unwell while swimming and, despite efforts, it was not possible to revive him.
