First important fire of the season controlled in Segarra
The fire has burned about 50 hectares of agricultural and forest vegetation and has mobilized about fifty ground and air vehicles
BarcelonaThe Generalitat Firefighters have declared the first major fire of the summer season under control tonight. It is a fire of agricultural and forest vegetation in Sanaüja (Segarra). The alert was received at one in the afternoon this Saturday and it started near the Masia dels Flares, on the border with the municipality of Biosca (Solsonès).
Initially, the fire had burned a haystack and a low-intensity cultivated field, but the flames spread rapidly and began to burn forest mass.

About fifty fire crews have moved to the area. Ground forces have tried to control the flames in the agricultural area, while air assets have focused on slowing the evolution in the forest area. The fire has affected about 50 hectares of land. Once controlled, the Firefighters maintain about fifteen crews there.
