Denunciations for littering the street increase by 310% with the new Barcelona coexistence ordinance

Complaints for littering the street have increased by 310% in Barcelona since the new coexistence ordinance came into effect in February. Specifically, 11,500 fines have been imposed for littering public spaces and complaints for littering behaviour have quadrupled.
