Crimean-Congo hemorrhagic fever case confirmed in Ciudad Real

The Government of Castilla-La Mancha has reported that a 46-year-old man has tested positive for Crimean-Congo hemorrhagic fever in the Puertollano health area. The patient has been transferred to the High-Risk Infectious Diseases Unit of the Gómez Ulla Central Defense Hospital.
