Barcelona reinforces the collection of fines from foreign drivers with more than 15,000 notifications in 2025

The Municipal Institute of Finance of Barcelona has managed the notification of 15,036 fines to foreign drivers in 2025 and about 2,600 additional notifications since the beginning of 2026. A collection rate of 31.05% has been achieved entirely within the voluntary period.
