An international study identifies 80 regions of the genome linked to endometriosis risk

An international study published in Nature Genetics has identified 80 genomic regions associated with the risk of developing endometriosis. Of these, the research has described 37 that had not been previously addressed, and has provided new clues about the mechanisms involved in the disease.
