The rainstorm this weekend has had a full impact on the country's mobility, both on the various rail services and on the roads and the airport. The Rodalies service could not resume across the entire network first thing this Monday due to the effects of the downpours on various lines. Rodalies has started up with sections of the R1, R2, R4, and lines R7, R8, and R11 without rail circulation, and has enabled alternative road service.

On the R1 line, there is no circulation between Arenys de Mar and Badalona, and the section is covered by buses; on the R2 North, the section between Granollers Centre and Sant Celoni is covered by road, and on the R4, it is done by bus from Manresa to Terrassa-Estació del Nord. Lines R7 and R8 are not operating along their entire route, and alternative road service has been enabled. The same applies to the R11, where there is direct road service between Girona and Sant Andreu and between Portbou and Maçanet-Massanes.

Regarding the R1, some trains operate the L'Hospitalet-Arenys route (this is the Maçanet-L'Hospitalet connection) and others (the Mataró/Blanes-L'Hospitalet ones) stop at Badalona to connect with the L2 line of the Barcelona Metro. This is due to a capacity issue in the Passeig de Gràcia tunnel, since the Plaça Catalunya tunnel is still not passable due to the flooding it suffered this weekend from the heavy rains, according to sources from Renfe.

On the other hand, at Sants station, the screens are not working correctly, and Adif sources have explained that they are manually correcting all the schedules and that they trust they will resolve the problems soon.

Closed roads and disabled lanes

Four roads are closed and five more have lanes disabled due to the heavy rains of the last few hours, as reported by the Catalan Traffic Service. Specifically, the BV-5159 between La Roca and Vilanova del Vallès and the C-1415a in Castellar del Vallès are closed due to landslides on the lanes, and there is a closure on the C-352 between Les Franqueses del Vallès and Canovelles and the GI-882 in Blanes due to flooding.

A road is cut off due to the mud generated by the rains.

Regarding the closed lanes, there are some on the C-17 between Lliçà d'Amunt and Parets, on the C-35 in Vidreres exit 87 is closed, on the GI-682 between Tossa and Sant Feliu; and on the N-150 in Terrassa. In these last two sections, there is alternating traffic flow, as well as on the GI-681 in Tossa de Mar. The exits and entrances to the AP-7 in Cardedeu are also closed. This road has 15 kilometers of slow traffic and stops between la Roca del Vallès and Barberà del Vallès in the direction of Tarragona.

In addition, the Catalan Traffic Service also requests caution on the C-58 from Barcelona to Sabadell due to puddles of water on the road.
