The Supreme Court's investigating magistrate in the Cerdán case, Leopoldo Puente, has agreed to extend the investigation for another six months. The decision, which can still be appealed, extends the investigation until at least March 8, 2026. In an order, Puente justifies this by the complexity of the case.
