BarcelonaThe full audio of the call made by the State Meteorological Agency (Aemet) to the Emergency Coordination Center of the Generalitat Valenciana on the day of the DANA warned that it was maintained Red alert for the entire 29th of October, and that in the afternoon the storm would become more complicated in the interior of the province of Valencia.

The call, which lasts 4 minutes, has come to light this Thursday after this Wednesday the Valencian PP and Carlos Mazón echoed a leaked version of the audio, in which only the Aemet technician could be heard saying "We are not going to bother you with more warnings." The party used the news to support its arguments against the Meteorological Agency and accuse it once again of not providing all the information on the day of the DANA.

Following the attack, Aemet responded via X that the complete call demonstrates "the diligence of the officials in the execution of their functions" and confirms that they gave Emergencies all the updated forecasts.

The Secretary of State for the Environment, Hugo Morán, himself has accused Carlos Mazón of being "on the verge of crime" in manipulating the audios from October 29. In fact, he has stressed that a dozen calls were made during the afternoon of the DANA. In the full call you can hear how the Aemet technician explains to Emergencies that at three in the afternoon the worst part of the storm would begin, and that it would last until six.

"As for the warning, we cannot raise it any higher," the technician declared to the call, referring to the areas that were already on red alert in the Valencian Community. In addition, she made it clear that the storm would move "to the northern interior of Valencia," to which the Emergencies interlocutor responded: "Now we are left with the consequences of the rain," referring to the large floods that were experienced afterwards.

This is the second time that an incomplete audio recording of communications during the DANA has been made public, which ends up being denied when its full version is published: a few days ago it happened with the alleged information blackout of the Júcar Hydrographic Conference.
