Tensions between Ballart and Vox councilors in Terrassa erupted during the official ceremony for the festival.

The relationship between Vox and Mayor Jordi Ballart continues to deteriorate. In April, Ballart had to suspend a plenary session and expel Vox from another because the far-right spokesperson, Alicia Tomás, wore a T-shirt accusing him of silencing rape.
