Graupera: "We will run in the elections no matter what."
The winner of the Barcelona primaries rules out other parties joining the candidacy.

BarcelonaPhilosopher Jordi Graupera, the clear winner of the Barcelona primaries held this weekend with nearly ten thousand people participating, explained today that he will run in the elections "no matter what," despite the pro-independence parties' rejection of a united list. "I rule out other parties joining because the vote has already been taken and the results cannot be altered," the promoter of the primaries organized by the ANC (National Action Party). Given his power to name the numbers 2, 3, 5, and 7 on the list after obtaining more than 50% of the vote, the activist admitted that he has not yet decided who will accompany him.
"We are flexible people, and whenever we can reach an agreement, we will," he noted regarding possible post-election pacts, after acknowledging that the presentation of four pro-independence lists will make it impossible for any of them to achieve an absolute majority. "Our priority is to ensure that Mayor Ada Colau does not return as mayor because her administration has been disastrous and she has demonstrated great cowardice toward the State and the Process," he asserted. In this regard, he lamented that ERC prioritizes a pact with the Comuns (Unins). "This has been the main reason why they have not joined the united candidacy," he explained in an interview on Catalunya Ràdio.
