"Thank you, son, I'll live off you": Lamine Yamal's father's surreal video
Mounir Nasraoui records himself making 'nuggets' and takes the opportunity to respond to critics.

BarcelonaMounir Nasraoui is Lamine Yamal's father, but he's becoming a social media star in his own right thanks to his extremely casual style. His latest video is a half-hour tutorial on how to make nuggets of chicken "like a pro," since, in his opinion, these plastered mossos are usually a disaster. The recipe itself doesn't have too many secrets, but Nasraoui gives it his all and brings out his chuman side. The high point of the show is when he shows that a mannequin of his son has been installed in the living room, with whom he begins to maintain a no less surreal dialogue.
"The only brand here is me," he joked while dipping the chicken in egg and breadcrumbs. "Spain has the best gastronomy in the world. I have to travel a lot and the coffee and food, in general, are very bad," he comments while the pan frys the nuggets.
The oldest hit It's Lamine's cameo, in the form of a mannequin with a yellow shirt and the number 304 in reference to his neighborhood of Rocafonda. The figure is located right in front of the mural that covers an entire wall keyhole with the faces of father and son. "What's up, man? Everything okay or what? Dad loves you. I have a surprise for you. I'll put it on and we'll show it to people." But he doesn't reveal it: the cook looks at the camera and adds: "You too. I hope he learned how to make nuggets of chicken. Goodbye and see you later."
Beyond showing off his culinary skills, Nasraoui takes the opportunity to respond to some of the criticism he receives for exploiting being the Barça player's father: "There are many out there who say stupid things. They say: "Come on, why don't you go to work? You live off your son." I'll tell you something, gentlemen: "Thanks, son. I will always be grateful to you. I will live off you." But those who have nothing, no children, no siblings, no friends, nothing, they spend all day worrying about other people's lives. Find something to do, guys."
