Broadcaster Josep Lobató returns to television ten years after losing his speech.
The communicator suffered brain damage that left him without basic skills.

BarcelonaAfter ten years away from the media, Josep Lobató reappeared on television this week to explain the consequences of the neurological condition that has left him unable to speak, his main work tool. The presenter, born in Esplugues de Llobregat in 1977, visited the program this Wednesday. And now Sonsoles to raise awareness of his struggle. He was accompanied at his speech by his best friend, David, who helped him express everything he'd been through.
In 2015, Lobató, who was then hosting a nighttime show on Europa FM, was diagnosed with a demyelinating disease that affected his nervous system and, consequently, caused him to progressively lose his ability to speak, as well as read and write. He subsequently suffered a stroke. Since then, the presenter has retired from the media and has focused his efforts on rehabilitation.
Through gestures, the presenter also explained that, as his friend says, not closing himself off has been essential to being able to move forward.
