Where to eat in Temps de Flors: Arroz9, paellas, quality tapas, and traditional Catalan cuisine
Gina Gudayol and Jordi Llagostera, young and dynamic people, are at the helm of this restaurant in the Old Quarter of Girona.

GironaAs its name suggests, Arròs9's main offering is signature rice dishes, as well as traditional Catalan cuisine. They make a dozen rice dishes, including brothy, creamy, and dry rice dishes, with meat, fish, and vegetables. One of the secrets to the excellent quality of their rice dishes is the sofrito, which they cook over low heat until the onions are perfectly caramelized. Another is that they use quality products such as acorn-fed duck (from Ànec 5 Aglans), an organic duck raised in Lluçanès, and Isla de Río rice from the Ebro Delta. They also have a lobster and crayfish tank to serve the freshest products possible.
They also prepare quality tapas made with local produce, and their extensive local and national wine list offers more than 100 varieties, ensuring customers always find the perfect wine.
Beyond the restaurant
Also on Arròs9 cook pans and takeaway dishes and they do caterings For events such as weddings, birthdays, private functions, etc. They adapt to the client and the situation, and always offer dishes made with local, high-quality products. All dishes, from starters to dessert, are made by them from top to bottom. The only thing that isn't theirs are the chuchos, which are from Can Castelló.
