A week before the Sant Fèlix performance, the groups that will be performing in Vilafranca on August 30th brought some of their boundary castles between the main festival days of Catllar, L'Arboç and Igualada, with great prominence on 5de9f and 2de9fm. The first was seen twice by the Castellers de Vilafranca and the Colla Vella de los Xiquets de Valls, and the second also on two occasions by the Vilafranca team and the Joven de Tarragona team, in addition to the Colla Joves Xiquets de Valls on Sunday. Likewise, all four scored the pde8fm.

The most difficult castle seen throughout the weekend was the 4de9fa by the Tarragona team on Saturday in Catllar, although it was left unfinished. The purple team was looking to unload it for the third time in their history, but the pillar was very punished after a worked four and ended up giving in in the downturn.

Another notable construction has been the 7de9f of the Colla Vella, unloaded for the second time in their history, and which is gaining size. The pink team, in turn, have also scored their first 9de8 of the year, both on Saturday and Sunday.

For their part, the Castellers de Vilafranca have made their first pde8fm of this year and have continued rolling the 9de8 and the 4de9f, with options to go up a level for Sant Fèlix.

In Igualada, the Joves de Valls have once again shown their handcuffs both with the two and the pillar. Therefore, they continue to refine their approach to 3de10fm, while, although it had been rumored, they have finally decided not to carry 2de8sf this weekend, crowned a week ago in La Bisbal.

Moixiganguers covers the Cuatro

The Moixiganguers from Igualada put on a top-notch performance, including two debuts. The most notable was 4de9f, which had to be defended to the limit. The castle was out of proportion, especially on the quarter-final floor, and was already in a very difficult situation before the attack. However, the Anoia team gritted their teeth until they finally completed it. The second debut, 4de8a, was left unfinished when the pointer dropped. Previously, they had scored their second 5 de 8 of the year.

Meanwhile, the Xiquets from Reus also presented the new 2de8f, which was added to the performance with 5de8 and 3de8.
