The first magic triplet bears the seal of the Minyons
The people of Egar score their first double of nine of the season.

The Minyons de Terrassa continue to offer a great version this year and this weekend they unloaded the first magic hat trick of the season, with the debut of the 4 of 9 with lining. The purples now have four nine-castles and two 5 of 8 at the start of the season.
These have been the only new castells of the day, as the Colla Vella of the Xiquets de Valls had their first 5 of 8 as the most outstanding construction. The pinks shared the place with the Jove de Tarragona, who had the 2 of 8 with lining as their best castle and stumbled with the attempt of 4 of 8, and the Xiquets de Reus with the basic eight.
Big-headed cathedral and bumblebee lining
In the mid- and high-end segments, the debut of the 5 of 8 by Cabezudos de Mataró and the 2 of 8 with lining by Castellers de Sants, the 100th in their history, stands out. Meanwhile, Joves de Valls continues to roll out the basic eight-piece and the 6-piece pillar, ready to make the leap.
4 of 8 early Sitges
One of the big news stories of the weekend is the early 4th out of 8 finish for the Jove de Sitges, just the tenth in its history.
The Al·lots de Llevant have scored the first seven-foot castles of the year, and they've done so three times over, launching the two basic seven-foot castles and the 4-foot-7 with a needle. Other new seven-foot castles include the 7-foot-7 in Poble Sec and the 3-foot-7 in Santpedor.
