At least twelve miners killed in coal mine explosion in central Colombia

At least 12 miners have died in an explosion in a coal mine in the Colombian department of Boyacá, according to the president of the country, Iván Duque. The accident occurred yesterday at the mine La Carbonera de Tópaga due to an explosion of methane gas and coal dust 500 meters deep.
