BarcelonaThe newspaper Line It has reached eleventh place in the ranking of the most-read Catalan-language digital publications. Last month, it reached an audience of 471,487 unique users and 788,218 page views, according to the OJDinteractiva audit. The metropolitan publication, founded in 1999, is designed for the Barcelona metropolitan area and covers local market niches, including all districts of the city of Barcelona. ARA holds third place, with 1,526,000 readers.

David Centol, editor of Grupo Comunicación 21, expressed his gratitude for the editorial partnership with ARA, which began in March 2024. He also highlighted the support of the employers' association AMIC and the more than twenty agreements they have signed with organizations such as the Fundació Comerç Barcelona and the Xarxa Audiovisual Local, asserting that this partnership fosters greater plurality and cross-sectoral engagement among readers.

Arnau Nadeu, the newspaper's editorial director, highly values these figures, especially because they have been achieved while maintaining the journalistic model they have always championed. The newspaper aspires to be a voice for the greater metropolitan area, but at the same time, it is the only local media outlet covering all of Barcelona's districts with separate editions. It has editions for Nou Barris, Sants, Sarrià, Eixample, Les Corts, Ciutat Vella, Horta, Gràcia, Sant Andreu, Sant Martí, and La Rambla. It also publishes newspapers in other metropolitan areas. such as Cornellà and L'Hospitalet de Llobregat, or the edition called Tres (Esplugues, Sant Joan Despí, and Sant Just Desvern). It has two more that inform the population of Baix Maresme and, on the other hand, the towns of Sant Boi de Llobregat, Viladecans, Gavà, Castelldefels, and El Prat de Llobregat. Finally, it also includes information from Vallès Oriental and the towns of Barberà, Cerdanyola, and Ripollet.

(Note: An earlier version of this news item explained that Línea had entered the Top 10. This was because OJD Interactive had not included the Nación group. Hours after publishing the article, this regulatory body reinstated the media outlets of this group to fourth position, which is a one-position drop.
