ARA is calling for the third year for four paid scholarships for university students in their third or fourth year of journalism for this summer. Those chosen will work in July and August in the newsroom, closely with the newspaper's professionals generating content, especially with the Society, International, Politics, and Economy sections. They will experience ARA's day-to-day by actively participating in the editorial process, a great opportunity to test their skills and knowledge, getting a foot in the door of a professional media outlet.

To apply, interested parties must send ARA their CV and a 30-second video explaining why they would like to work at the newspaper and what contributions they believe they can make. They must send their application before April 30 to the email address becaestiu@ara.cat. The internships will be curricular or extracurricular and will be channeled through the university where they are pursuing their studies.

Ten finalists

Once all applications have been received, a group of finalists will be selected, who will have to undergo a current affairs test and write a news article to demonstrate their journalistic skills. Of these, those who achieve the best evaluation will be summoned for personal interviews, in which their suitability to join the newspaper's team will be assessed. From this process, which will take place during the month of May, the four scholarship holders will emerge, who will receive a remuneration of approximately 1,000 euros per month. The job is located at the newspaper's headquarters in the heart of Barcelona, in the Raval neighborhood.
