'Exterior', the magazine for Catalans around the world, is now available in print.

The magazine launches with a circulation of 3,000 copies and distribution in more than sixty countries.

BarcelonaAfter six years of digital presence, Exterior.es makes the leap to print format with the publication of its first paper magazine. Grup Comunicació 21 presented it this Monday at Espai Línia, a local communication space, six years after the birth of the digital portal. According to data from the interactive OJD (OJD Interactive), it currently has more than 49,000 unique monthly users and more than 56,000 page views, and disseminates the activities, values, and initiatives that project Catalonia internationally. The magazine Abroad, which will be published twice a year with an initial print run of 3,000 copies, will be distributed free of charge to more than sixty countries. More than 200 Catalan entities and communities abroad, as well as groups and organizations linked to global Catalonia, will receive it. It will also be available for download in PDF format through the project website.

The inaugural issue of the magazine includes an in-depth interview with Anna Fontcuberta i Morral, president of the Swiss Federal Institute of Technology in Lausanne (EPFL), a 170-year-old Swiss institution that, for the first time, is led by a woman. You can also read a report on international human tower groups, a review of the platform's twenty-year history. Catalansalmundo -which has connected nearly 100,000 Catalans around the world- and an analysis of the projection of Catalan municipalities abroad through the Catalan Association of Municipalities (ACM).

The presentation was attended by various Catalan entities with ties to abroad. In the debate held during the event, several representatives praised the initiative. Ivan Besora, of Adifolk, which promotes Catalan folklore, emphasized that Exterior.es It gave them exposure and dissemination of Catalan popular culture. Carlota Jover, representative of the international human tower groups, spoke of the importance of capturing the diverse realities of international human tower groups, and Martí Estruch, of Catalunya Internacional, defined the magazine as "a brave undertaking."

Coinciding with the magazine's first publication, the mural was unveiled. Catalonia in the world. It measures 5.5 meters high by 3.5 meters wide and shows the distribution of the entities, international human tower groups, government delegations, and public bodies working to promote Catalonia worldwide. This mural can be seen on a double-page spread in the first issue of the magazine. It was designed by Marga Moreno, art director of Grup Comunicació 21, with the support of the editorial team ofExterior.es.
