3Cat kicks off the season "with the most significant change in the last forty years"
3/24 and Catalonia Information are unified under the 3CatInfo brand.
BarcelonaTV3 began broadcasting its daily programming this Monday, but the bulk of its schedule will begin rolling out in the coming weeks. The public television station today presented the main new features for this year, which will be marked by the renewal of its news programs, "the biggest change that has been made in the last forty years at TV3," according to the channel's director, Sigfrid Gras.
This change, welcomed by management and which will begin on September 17, includes a change in the nomenclature of 3/24 and Catalunya Informació, which will now operate under a single name, 3CatInfo. The presentation will feature Raquel Sans, who will present the Evening news From Friday to Sunday, he explained that the decision was made to consolidate all information under this single brand to adapt "to the new times of consuming and producing information." The new news offering will include a new app, a new website, and a podcast analyzing the daily news.
