BarcelonaFew people set trends in Hollywood as much as Zendaya, who always makes daring and personal stylistic choices. The actress has once again proven she is unbeatable on the red carpet by appearing at the premiere of The Odyssey in a dress that left no one indifferent. In the film, she plays the goddess Athena, and Zendaya has decided to dress in keeping with her role: she chose a sculptural design from the firm Schiaparelli that surprises with a white breastplate-like upper body that accentuates her breasts and ribs. The corset, in fact, can be reminiscent of an ancient Greek sculpture, undoubtedly a nod to the film in which she participates, an adaptation of Homer's epic poem.

Zendaya and her stylist's choice, Law Roach, is a new demonstration of the power the pair holds in the fashion world: the dress was only just presented on Monday morning at Paris Fashion Week, and by the afternoon the actress was already wearing it in London. Roach has dressed Zendaya since she was 14 years old, and together they practice method dressing;meaning all the outfits the actress wears to presentations and premieres reference the films she is promoting. She has done so with Dune, with Challengers and with the different installments of Spider-Man.

The design Zendaya wore in London was one of the most notable from Schiaparelli's Autumn-Winter 2026-2027 collection, which kicked off Paris Fashion Week on Monday morning, running until this Thursday. Artistic director Daniel Roseberry, responsible for the resurrection of the brand founded by Elsa Schiaparelli in the 1920s, presented a groundbreaking, and in some cases excessive, proposal that maintains the surrealist influence of the house's beginnings.

This year, the designer has been inspired by Antoni Gaudí and the facades of his Barcelona buildings. In the collection's presentation text, Roseberry explains that with his previous collection he felt he had reached one of the peaks of his career and, for this reason, decided to visit Barcelona in search of new creativity. Although the strategy did not entirely work, Gaudí's work remained in his subconscious, and can be detected in some of the looks he presented in Paris. One of the dresses has reminiscences of the decorative mosaic on the ceiling of the Sala Hipòstila in Park Güell, and another recalls the undulating forms of Casa Batlló.

Fashion weeks around the world are also a showcase to see some of the most prominent stars in cinema and music. At the Schiaparelli one, there were two prominent figures. One of the guests was Bad Bunny, who attended the show in a butter yellow suit jacket, complemented by a tie that looked like a long braid of golden hair. All signed by Schiaparelli, obviously, a brand with which he has already collaborated on several occasions, such as at this year's Grammy Awards gala., such as at this year's Grammy Awards gala. The other guest who drew all eyes was actress Emma Corrin, protagonist of the next version of Pride and Prejudice. The British woman left everyone stunned wearing the Elsa jacket, which is made of feathers and makes the wearer look like a bird.
