24th Poblenou Scene Festival

From October 16th to 19th, the 24th Escena Poblenou Festival will once again fill the Barcelona neighborhood with contemporary creation, live arts, and social commitment. The festival, which maintains its commitment to proximity, creative risk, and support for emerging and established talent, presents 23 performing arts proposals that stand out for their creativity and community spirit. The program includes Miquel Barcelona, Mos Maiorum and Joan Yago, Clara Ingold, La Copla de Wisconsin, Hotel Iocandi, La Côte Folle, and Pau Palaus, among others. Barcelona Draws

The Catalan capital hosts a new edition of Barcelona Draw this weekend. Around forty artists will lead the free workshops and activities organized at venues and institutions such as the Picasso Museum, the Macba, Montjuïc Castle, and the Design Hub Barcelona, among others. This year's participants include Adalina Coromines, Carmen de Ayora, Daniel Díaz Heredia, Eduardo Pilippi, Ivan Forcadell, Lara Martínez, Martínez, and Rocío Quillahuman.
Lloret de Mar Witches' Fair

The Lloret de Mar Witches' Fair celebrates its 4th edition this year, transforming the town into a journey filled with mystery, culture, and charm. XX Days of Ebrencas Letters

The 20th edition of the Ebrencas Literature Conference, featuring a range of activities and the participation of more than eighty figures from the world of literature. Discussions, round tables, performances, audiovisual presentations, and recitals, among other activities, featured literature as the focus and writers as the main guests.
Market Fair of Markets
Plaza de las Glòries (Barcelona). From October 17 to 19
On October 17, 18, and 19, the Market of Markets Fair returns to Plaça de les Glòries in Barcelona, featuring the finest products from market vendors, local restaurateurs, and local producers. Workshops, music, and market- and gastronomic-related activities will fill the three-day fair program. Workshops, showcookings and presentations. And let's not forget the little ones, who can enjoy all kinds of activities and games in the Children's Area. Plus, the three days will be enlivened with musical performances for the whole family.
Sea and Mountain Festival
Cambrils and Vall d'Aran. Starting October 15
The residents of the Aran Valley often visit Cambrils to eat, walk, or swim on the beach. It's also the other way around. Taking advantage of some natural trails that were already established, the first Mar i Muntanya festival has been created, connecting six chefs from the Aran Valley with six chefs from Cambrils. From October 15th to 30th, Cambrils hosts the first part, while from December 1st to 15th, the Aran Valley will host the chefs from Cambrils. In practice, during these October days, you can eat in Cambrils restaurants to taste the dishes that the mountains have brought to the sea, and which are as attractive as the veal marrow with white shrimp from Cambrils. WIMEN Festival 2025

This October marks the first edition of the Wimen Festival, an event bringing together 37 artists and a lineup entirely led by women, with the ambition of turning Barcelona into an epicenter of music, diversity, and cultural reflection. Catalan and international artists will kick off a month of concerts and activities featuring names such as Mala Rodríguez, Buika, Ana Tijoux, Yemi Alade, Mayte Martín, Shego, Tribade, and Sofía Gabanna.
8th Guilleries Fair
Various spaces (Sant Hilari Sacalm). From October 17 to 19
The 8th edition of the Guilleries Fair returns with a program full of activities for all audiences, allowing them to enjoy a weekend filled with crafts, culture, tradition, and nature. This year, they're bringing back the Log Carving Festival, which is now in its 53rd edition. This is a historic and emblematic event that reinforces local roots and identity. The first log carving took place in 1958, and the last time it was held was in 2012.
