The SpainSat NG II communications satellite is now headed for space.

The SpainSat NG II satellite, which is expected to guarantee communications for the next 15 years, is now headed into space after launching tonight from the Cape Canaveral Space Station (USA). It now faces a five-month journey to reach within 36,000 km of Earth.
