The assassination of the former conservative MP was "directed", says British counter-terrorism police

The British counter-terrorism police believe Ann Widdecombe's murder was a "brutal" and "targeted" attack, but have not yet declared it an act of terrorism. Assistant Commissioner Laurence Taylor explained today that investigators are working to determine "the planning" and clarify the motivation.
