BarcelonaA dinner on the terrace of the Windsor restaurant in Barcelona (Còrsega street, 232) with live music on Fridays and Saturdays for fifty euros, all-inclusive, including desserts, coffees, and drinks. This is the proposal launched by the director and owner, Joan Junyent, who explains that the dishes follow the basic premises of the restaurant: Catalan and local cuisine.

The strawberry gazpacho with burrata, the first course of the night menu.

For the month of June, the dishes on the night menu are: a gazpacho with strawberries, burrata and basil; an omelette with prawn carpaccio and fish broth; smoked rice with grilled vegetables and romesco; lamb with spiced tabbouleh, and for dessert, mojito-style melon. The dishes are copious, as is the hallmark of the Windsor restaurant, designed for the time of year, and on the wine list you will find garnachas from the DO Terra Alta.

Some dishes, shared

Some of the dishes, like rice, are meant to be shared in the middle of the table, and for everyone to serve themselves. "This informal style is what we also want to promote for summer nights, to make it more relaxed," explains Junyent, who adds that Windsor has the Biosphere sustainable certification seal, and for this reason the menu is made of wood, always the same, on top of which they change the evening menu (which lasts a month) or the lunch menu (which changes weekly).
