Roli Ice Cream Shop: It's hot, how about making a sorbet?

Dear readers, summer is a time for leisure. And when it comes to leisure, our most carpant side has a lot to say. We're starting this list of 36 recommendations because, if you're in the Catalan-speaking lands, you have a moral duty to enjoy the goodness of God we have here. You don't have to be the smartest girl in the class to know that we're dying from the heat, and therefore, we have to start with an obvious, but pertinent, suggestion: ice cream. And if we're talking about ice cream, it must be said that in recent years things have improved a lot. We have a wave of artisans who know what they're doing.

We could make a list of places where they make films, with top-quality products, that have incorporated seasonality and well-understood creativity. Since this section is all about getting wet, today I'm choosing one. It's in Girona and is called Roli Ice Cream Shop.

Roli is just over two years old and has made a name for itself. Its soul is Josep Niubó, a man from Lleida who came from the haute cuisine industry. A chef who decided to settle in Girona and from now on "cooks ice cream." He has his own recipes and invents original combinations. Of course, although there is life beyond vanilla ice cream, you will also find traditional tastes in their ice cream parlor on Calle Santa Clara, 3. Whether you want to be seduced by their white peach sorbet with Earl Grey Or you might prefer the pistachio one from Les Garrigues. Rest assured, all are 100% artisanal and gluten-free. The sorbets are also lactose-free and therefore vegan.
