The European Commission approves the new Protected Geographical Indication of 'Pernil Cerretà'

The European Commission has approved the registration of 'Pernil Cerretà' as a new Protected Geographical Indication (PGI) of the European Union, a designation awarded to agricultural and food products with a reputation or characteristics linked to a geographical area, in this case 24 Catalan counties.
