The body insists that a "detailed analysis" of the impact of the takeover bid on Sabadell is being conducted on the general interest.

Economy Minister Carlos Cuerpo reiterated this Thursday that the Spanish government is conducting a "detailed analysis" of BBVA's takeover bid for Banc Sabadell. The government has one month, until June 26, to decide whether to add further conditions to the transaction for reasons of public interest.
