Lufthansa Group will charge for cabin baggage on short and medium-haul flights from April 28

Lufthansa Group has announced that it will expand its fare offering for short and medium-haul flights, adding a new "economy basic" fare that will not include a cabin suitcase and will be operational from May 19. Passengers will be able to add more luggage as an additional service.
