Iberdrola shoots up profits by 22% during the first semester due to the sale of the Mexican business

The energy multinational Iberdrola earned 4,336.4 million euros in the first half of the year, 22% more than last year. The good numbers are largely explained by the sale of the Mexican business and by English tax relief, the capital allowances, which subsidize some investments.
