Ebro EV Motors reduces losses and boosts revenue in 2025

The company sells 14,148 vehicles in its first full year of manufacturing

BarcelonaThe company Ebro EV Motors, owner of the Ebro brand, lost 16.33 million euros last year –the first full fiscal year manufacturing cars in the Zona Franca–, 31.5% less than in 2024, but its revenues soared to 357 million (+920%), driven by sales of its models, as the company, listed on the BME Growth (the Spanish stock market for SMEs), reported this Tuesday. Revenues multiplied by ten compared to 2024 and those associated with the automotive business amounted to 335 million euros.

Ebro EV Motors has detailed that the revenue figure implies exceeding the 333 million set as a target for last year. However, the company continues to be in the red, due to the investments made to transform the Zona Franca plant in Barcelona and to launch its different models

"The increase in sales caused by the launch of new commercial models and the densification of the commercial network throughout the year, favored the acceleration of operations in the second half of the year and allowed us to achieve the EBITDA target set for 2025," the company states.

Ebro EV Motors assures that its adjusted EBITDA –it does not provide the EBITDA figure (operating profit before interest, taxes, and amortizations)– was positive at 4.42 million at the close of 2025, compared to the negative operating result of 15.27 million in the previous year.

Ebro ended the year with 14,148 vehicles sold to dealerships and 12,459 registrations recorded, reaching a market share of 1.1% in Spain, driven especially by sales of its S700 model (6,498 units) and then by the S400 (3,968 units).

92.5 million investments

The company has detailed that last year it allocated 92.5 million to investments, compared to the 46.5 million allocated in 2024. Of this figure, the allocation of 43.5 million euros for the new welding line (M1) stands out, which Ebro assures will significantly increase the plant's production capacity throughout 2026.

On the other hand, Ebro, which already employs about 1,450 people, plans to end this year with 105 points of sale in Spain and 5 in Portugal. In a statement, the president of Ebro EV Motors, Rafael Ruiz, highlighted that 2025 represented "a definitive turning point in the trajectory of Ebro EV Motors, consolidating our transition from a reindustrialization project to an industrial reality".
