The remains of a Republican soldier with his boots on were recovered in Pla d'Urgell.

The Directorate General for Democratic Memory has recovered the skeletal remains of a Republican soldier who died during the Civil War from the Novella Baixa farmhouse in Vila-sana (Pla d'Urgell). This farmhouse was used as a field hospital by the 27th Division of the People's Army at the end of 1938, during the retreat.
