The missing Picasso was kept by a neighbor, who mistook him for an abandoned package.

The police have announced on their X account that they have recovered the work, titled Still life with guitarThe details of the recovery are even more striking: the transporters who were supposed to take it from a warehouse to Avenida Pío XII in Madrid, Granada, left it in the doorway, and a neighbor took it home thinking it was an abandoned package. But the woman didn't open it and left it hidden in her house for days. Until the neighbor's husband told her the news, and then she realized and called the police, probably because they are aware that her blog often features works of art. The work was insured for 600,000 euros.

Still life with guitar It was supposed to be part of the Caja Granada Foundation exhibition Still Life. The Eternity of the Inert, but since the packaging was not numbered, when the foundation's technicians received the works they signed the carrier's delivery note and did not carry out the corresponding checks until they unpacked the works a few days later.
