BarcelonaBeyond the street decorations, music is one of the pillars of Gràcia's festival, which begins this Friday and runs until Thursday, August 21. The program includes hundreds of free concerts of all styles and for all audiences, from both established artists and emerging bands. Below, we've selected ten essential concerts to experience the festival with the best soundtrack.

Roger Padrós and Noèlia NX

Women's Square. August 15 (7 p.m.)

Roger Padrós is a singer-songwriter and trained pianist, known for his participation in the program The Voice and at the Benidorm Fest 2024 with the song The weatherHe has published several works, among which the album Life is better (2022), Backlit (2024) and the EP Would you like to stay? (2025), which he will present at the Fiestas de Gràcia concert. He will be accompanied by vocalist Noèlia NX in a live performance that combines repertoire from the new album with songs from previous projects.

Clarence Bekker Band

Women's Square. August 15 (10 p.m.)

Based in Barcelona for over fifteen years, Clarence Bekker is a Dutch singer whose career includes projects of his own compositions as well as covers. He is a regular at the Jamboree Hall in Barcelona and even has a live album recorded at the club, Live at Jamboree Barcelona (2024). With his band, he mixes soul, funk, and reggae, and performs covers of classics from these genres. His voice and stage presence are a very energetic spectacle.

Gregotechno

Plaza del Sol. August 15 (11:30 p.m.)

Gregotechno fuses the solemnity of Gregorian chant with the hypnotic energy of techno in a sonic and visual immersion that surprises with its power. Marc Vilajuana, Alejandro Narés and Xavier Arqué sign this journey that turns liturgical music into dance material, with projections inspired by sacred natural landscapes that amplify the hypnotic effect.

Faja

Plaza del Sol. August 16 (9:30 p.m.)

Faixa is a musical project born between the Valencian regions of Alcoià and Comtat with the aim of rescuing and reinterpreting heritage through cutting-edge electronic music. Their work incorporates traditional elements with contemporary styles, weaving together sounds inspired by local landmarks such as the Ruta del Bakalao. Their latest single, Marineries, is a collaboration with Sandra Monfort, a piece that combines her traditional roots with the Valencian singer's experimental and evocative voice.

Miqui Puig

San Antonio Crossing. August 17 (7 p.m.)

Miqui Puig, singer, DJ, and former frontman of Los Sencillos, is a staple at the Gràcia festival with his DJ set on the Sant Antoni traverse. He himself describes it as one of the most special gigs of the year "because there's magic": he combines Latin songs, acid house, classic tracks, and new releases, always adapting to the audience's response. Puig, who is also a composer, producer, radio host, and writer, always tries to make his sets a collective experience of dancing and fun.

Adrià Salas

Rovira Square. August 17 (11 p.m.)

For over twenty years, Adrià Salas has fronted La Pegatina, one of the most renowned Catalan rumba groups. Following the group's temporary hiatus, Salas has released solo albums. Maguey Heart (2024), where he explores themes such as the need to slow down his pace of life. The Gràcia Festival concert will be his last in this solo career before resuming his career with La Pegatina.

Sexenio

Plaza de la Villa, August 19 (midnight)

Sexenni is a group from Lleida formed in 2019 that combines urban pop with influences from genres such as funk, rap, and reggaeton. They became known with the album Portraits (2022) and consolidated their presence on the Catalan scene with subsequent works such as Supernova (2023) and Child's play (2025). Their lyrics often draw on everyday situations and generational references. They have collaborated with artists such as Yung Rajola, Santi Balmes, and DJ Trapella.

Sergi Estella

Brush Square. August 20 (9 p.m.)

Sergi Estella is a singer, composer and multi-instrumentalist musician from Rubí, active solo as one-man band, A format in which a single performer plays several instruments simultaneously. Her project combines blues, American folk, and rock & roll. Estella stands out for making her own instruments from everyday objects, such as guitars made from brooms or beer cans, a characteristic that lends authenticity and humor to her live performances. In 2012, she won the Sona9 competition with the group Empty Cage and has released solo albums such as You get over it and you're screwed (2017) or Blood like wine (2021).

Coyote Girl and Tornado Boy

Rovira Square. August 21 (11 p.m.)

The desert rock of Niña Coyote eta Chico Tornado, a Basque duo formed by Úrsula Strong (drums) and Koldo Soret (guitar and vocals), combines powerful melodies and atmospheres with hard rock influences, punk aesthetics, and psychedelic aesthetics. In 2025, they released their fifth album, Atheist, which they are presenting throughout the State. At the Fiestas de Gràcia they perform within the framework of theError! Celebrate, an experimental stage that is part of the district's alternative music agenda.

Festigàbal

Sedeta Gardens. August 15 and 16

Festigàbal is a free festival organized by the Heliogàbal venue to coincide with the Gràcia Festival. This year, it celebrates its 20th edition with a lineup of emerging and independent artists, including Lima Negra, a project by Granada-based Javier Sola and Juan Carlos Ruiz; and the Barcelona-based duo Ciutat, who will present their album Friendship City (2024) and DJ Coco, a leading figure on the Barcelona indie scene and a regular at Primavera Sound. The lineup includes Me & the Bees, Hadren, Ryna DJ, Mayo, Killin' Cactuz, Casero, and Corte!
