BarcelonaLaura Escanes, influencer and presenter of La travessa(3Cat), stands out for being very transparent in all her appearances. A few days ago she participated in the podcast Ac2ality and had no problem sharing how much her latest real estate purchase cost her, a villa in Menorca, the island where she spends her summers. Regarding the price of the house, Escanes replied to Abel Planelles: "About 700,000 euros. It's cheaper than my apartment in Madrid with three bedrooms. Madrid is just prohibitive. Well, everything is prohibitive".

The presenter assures that she is aware that 700,000 euros is not cheap, but emphasizes that, considering the real estate offer on the island, she believes it was a good purchase. Furthermore, she highlights that the day she signed the mortgage for her new home in Menorca, she felt like she was fulfilling a dream. The property, located in Cala Morell, a short distance from Ciutadella, has a garden and a swimming pool, and Escanes assures that she will have it ready to move into in the coming weeks.

During the interview, Escanes also makes it clear that she feels a strong connection to the island, where she first went as a child and has returned on multiple occasions since. "Menorca is my place of peace. I have spent many moments of my life there, some beautiful and some difficult," she states. The presenter of La travessa recalls that after her first stay with her family, she returned to the island with her friends, and since then, it became a tradition to spend holidays in Menorca.

On the podcast, the influencer also talks about her professional life and assures that she would not continue presenting the 3Cat New Year's Eve chimes if Miki Núñez decided not to continue with the New Year's Eve tradition. "I would be very sad. Miki is wonderful, he is a super generous person. Working with him, you learn a lot, he makes you shine. It would be very strange for me. Besides, people love him very much. In Catalonia, people love me, but I think, in part, it's because of the good relationship with Miki. I have a lot to thank him for," she explains.
