After three seasons with anonymous contestants, the adventure reality show La travessa (3Cat) takes a turn. In the new installment, the contestants will be familiar faces to the general public; eight pairs of celebrities from the world of entertainment, communication, sports, and the influencer universe will compete against each other to be the winners of the economic prize. This Monday, 3Cat announced who the celebrities will be participating in this edition, which will premiere in the fall.

In the program, contestants must travel through part of the Catalan territory, crossing natural and wild landscapes, while facing physical challenges. The first season was in the Pyrenees, the second on the Mediterranean coast, and the third in the Terres de Ponent. For the new season, the locations where the competition will take place have not yet been revealed.

The reality is one of 3Cat's most successful bets, and in this fourth season, surprising challenges and a more intense format are expected. The couples who will participate in this new adventure are:

1. Raquel Sans and Miki NúñezTwo of the best-known and most beloved faces of 3Cat. Both, journalist and singer, will have to prove that, despite coming from completely different worlds, they can complement their skills to give their all.

2. Jessica Goicoechea and Natalia García TimofeevaOne of the most diverse Catalan couples in the competition. On the one hand, Goicoechea is dedicated to the world of modeling and social networks, while Timofeeva is a former rhythmic gymnast, winner of five consecutive Spanish championships, as well as being part of the Spanish rhythmic gymnastics team from 2008 to 2021.

3. Neus Rossell and Jair DomínguezBoth know each other perfectly from having worked for years on the program El búnquer, together with Peyu, and for being a sentimental couple. Humor and journalism make this one of the most unpredictable couples on the show, who will have to put their coexistence and complicity to the test, once again.

4. Sheila and Christian CasasThe siblings of actors Mario and Óscar Casas. Sheila has already worked on television programs such as Bailando con las estrellas, while Christian is the manager and administrator of his siblings' artistic careers. They are the only couple on the program who share blood.

5. The TyetsThe duo from Mataró, made up of Xavier Coca and Oriol de Ramon, will leave the stage during the recording months to prove they can also keep the rhythm outside the studio.

6. Nerea Sanfe and Carolina FerreThe communicators and friends have a very close relationship since they met at À Punt directe, a program on Valencian public television. Currently, Sanfe presents the section Catalunya on falla on the program APM? and has also been at the forefront of various formats for La 2 Cat. For her part, Carolina Ferre has been linked to À Punt for many years.

7. Víctor Sada and Laia PalauBoth basketball players and European champions with the Spanish national team. They not only shared a position on the court, but also the discipline and teamwork that sport provides and which will be of great importance to excel in the competition.

8. Carlota Bruna and Gádor MuntanerFinally, Carlota Bruna, influencer, environmental communicator and ambassador for the European Climate Pact, and Gádor Muntaner, marine scientist and conservationist. Both share a passion for the natural environment that will play in their favor in this adventure.
