Telecommunications company Cellnex has appointed Maria Carrapato as the group's new director of investor relations. Until now, Carrapato held the same position at NOS SGPS. Previously, Carrapato managed investor relations at two listed Portuguese companies, Sonae Industria and Sonaecom, between 2000 and 2007.
Carrapato, a graduate in business administration and an MBA, began her career as a financial analyst at Banco Português do Atlântico and later joined the international equity sales team at Banco Português de Investimento.
Isabel Salazar, new CEO of Fundación Telefónica
Isabel Salazar Páramo will be the new CEO of the Telefónica Foundation. The new leadership team is completed with the appointment of Javier Gutiérrez-Bolívar as Deputy General Manager of Innovation and Strategy and Iñigo Audibert as Deputy General Manager of Transformation, Efficiency, and Support.
Salazar holds a law degree and a diploma in business administration from the Comillas Pontifical University. She was the director of legal counsel for the Telefónica Foundation. She has 20 years of experience in corporate and foundation settings; she began her career in the consumer goods sector and joined the Telefónica Group's general secretariat in 2011. Among other positions, she has served as legal director of Wayra, the startup accelerator. start-ups of Telefónica, also of the ProFuturo Foundation and responsible for integrity in the global management of compliance of the Telefónica group.
For its part, the deputy director of the executive presidency (Luisa Alli) will manage the areas of communication and marketing (Lydia Loste) and institutional relations (Joan Cruz). The legal and compliance and coordination with the ProFuturo Foundation will report directly to the new general director. Isabel Salazar will replace Luis Prendes in the position.
Maria Trias replaces Sandra Masoliver as head of the Charlemagne Forum
Maria Trias, CEO of Galletas Trias, is the new president of the Fórum Carlomagno, a non-profit organization made up of more than one hundred Girona-based companies whose goal is to achieve excellence in business management. Trias takes over from Sandra Masoliver and will share the mandate until 2028 with Albert Puxan (Mimasa Washing Technologies), who will become the new vice president, replacing Joan Castells.
Sandra Masoliver began her term in 2021 and is stepping down after four years. The other presidents of the Fórum since its founding have been Jaume Sanabras (2003-2008), Marc Sansalvadó (2008-2012), Francesc Planas (2012-2017), and Francesc Bosch (2017-2021).
Alexandra Mitjans, new patron of the Eada Foundation
Alexandra Mitjans, director of planet and climate at Ashoka, a global network of social entrepreneurs and one of the five most important NGOs in the world, has joined the Eada Foundation as a trustee after accepting the invitation from the foundation's highest governing body.
