With a firm step towards summer in the coming days
Temperatures will rise again with a vengeance, especially inland, very calmly and with few nuances.

BarcelonaThe heat has been fairly contained and normal for this time of year these last two days. Only towards the West, the interior of the Ebro, Priorat, and Pla de Bages did temperatures reach or slightly exceed 30°C on Thursday. But starting today, temperatures will rise sharply again, with a warm peak on Saturday that will once again reach 35°C in the hottest inland areas. Sunday will see a temporary drop in the mercury, but next week looks set to be fully summery. Above-average values lead us directly into summer, all with sunshine, calm, and few nuances.
Friday: warmer and calmer
The weather will be very calm today, Friday, with generally quite a bit of sunshine and no precipitation. There will only be a few low clouds or morning fog on the coast, and throughout the day some high, thin cloud bands will cross and may occasionally darken the sky. In the afternoon, some storm clouds will also reach the Pyrenees and the west, but apart from some isolated showers on the northern slopes of the Pyrenees, no rain is expected.
Minimum temperatures have dropped slightly, and early in the morning the coolness is more evident. There have only been some slightly tropical lows in the city of Barcelona and the Ebro Delta. However, maximum temperatures will generally rise, and the heat will be more pronounced in the middle of the day, although far from extremes. Many temperatures will range between 26 and 32°C, but towards the west and inland Ebro, temperatures could reach 33 or 34°C locally.
Summer weekend
The weather will remain very calm and sunny in most regions this first full weekend of June. Harmless clouds will gather in the Pyrenees on Saturday, and there may be some coastal fog. On Sunday, some cold air will move in from altitude, causing a few local showers to reappear in the afternoon in the Pyrenees and Pre-Pyrenees—particularly in the east—as well as in nearby areas. There will be few local showers, and on Sunday, the Tramuntana wind will also move into the Empordà region.
Small nuances in a calm environment. Saturday will see a peak of summer heat and many highs of 27 to 33°C, but towards the west and inland from the Ebro, temperatures will once again hover around 35°C in some cases. However, temperatures will drop slightly on Sunday. Monday is a holiday for many people, and it looks like the weather will remain calm and warm, but not extreme.

But everything indicates that next week the mercury will rise even further, and we'll have days of full summer, with values markedly above average and a new outbreak of suspended African dust, especially midweek. It seems that summer is approaching without stopping, and the rain tap will remain closed for several days.
