Sunny weekend and with more intense heat

BarcelonaThe mercury dropped much shorter this Friday, after a Thursday with highs of over 36 ℃ or 37 ℃ in Alt Empordà, El Segrià and in points of the pre-littoral, and it barely exceeded 32 ℃ or 33 ℃ where it was hottest. However, a weekend awaits us in which the temperature will recover and the sun will once again be the protagonist, with no risk of precipitation.

Saturday: sun and heat

Start of the weekend with very calm weather and an absolute protagonism of the sun. The minimum temperature will be similar or even a little lower, with very restricted tropical nights in coastal points like the central sector. The maximum will rise after Friday's thermal drop, but will remain around the climatic average.

Sunday: 35 ℃ return

The anticyclone will maintain its absolute dominance on Sunday, with weather dominated by the presence of the sun, good news for those who want to enjoy the beach or outdoor activities on the last weekend of August. However, there will be some low clouds around the Ebro Delta. The temperature will rise a little more and could again reach 35℃ or 36℃ in Ponent.

Possible changes for next week

Next week will start very calmly, with a Monday dominated by sun and still with high temperatures everywhere, but it seems that between Tuesday and Wednesday we could have symptoms of atmospheric instability, with showers and some thunderstorms. In no case is an episode of abundant or general rain expected, but we will have to be attentive to the final distribution and intensity of the precipitation.
