Warnings for heavy rain and accumulations have been issued in Terres de l'Ebre, on the southern coast and in the center of the country.

BarcelonaWe ended the weekend calmly, with a summery atmosphere and rising temperatures. Temperatures reached 34°C in Lleida and ranged between 30°C and 32°C in the rest of the regions. At the end of the day, some showers fell in the south, accumulating 1 l/m.2 in Horta de Sant Joan.
The warmth and thin clouds of this Sunday will give way to a radical change in the weather, which will begin this Monday morning. Showers will begin to fall in the south and will spread to central Catalonia and the north during the afternoon. The Inuncat alert for rainfall intensity is in effect between Monday and Tuesday. Storms will be locally intense.
And the eclipse, finally, has been marred in many regions by clouds. However, in some regions, the phenomenon has been visible, especially the final phase.
Monday: change in weather with the arrival of a front
The approach of an active front associated with a cold air path at altitude will increase cloud cover and bring the first showers and thunderstorms. The first precipitation will begin in the morning in the south and fall in the regions of Camp de Tarragona and the central area (Solsonès, Berguedà, Bages, and Lluçanès). Temperatures will remain high, reaching around 30°C in the West and 28°C on the coast (with muggy conditions).
From midday, the downpours will resume in the south and move west, affecting Pallars Jussà, La Noguera, Alt Urgell, Solsonès, and Berguedà. Locally, they will be of moderate to heavy intensity, accompanied by thunderstorms, hail, or the occasional stone scatter. In fact, Meteocat has already issued a warning for heavy rain and heavy accumulations, with a high danger level of 4 out of 6, in the Terres de l'Ebre and the Camp de Tarragona region, and moderate danger in the rest of the affected regions.

Tuesday: thunderstorms and heavy rain during the early morning and into mid-morning
On Tuesday, rain could sweep across the entire territory, locally heavy. Storms will hit the southern coast and the pre-coastal region during the early morning hours, as well as in Central Catalonia and the Pre-Pyrenees. As the hours pass, they will continue to develop across the eastern half of the territory. In the afternoon, some new storms will hit the south and the pre-coastal region. Showers will also fall in the Valencian Community and the Balearic Islands, with rainfall that could exceed 30 or 40 l/m.2 in just under half an hour and abundant accumulations in a few hours.
Quieter Diada Bridge
Unstable conditions will continue on Wednesday, with some early morning and early morning showers in the northern central coast and the Costa Brava. A few thunderstorms could occur in the northeast during the afternoon. However, the Diada long weekend looks set to be considerably calmer, with mild mornings and afternoon showers in the Pyrenees.
