BarcelonaWe're leaving behind a Tuesday marked once again by the morning chill more typical of late autumn and by calm. However, temperatures have already risen somewhat. However, this Wednesday, an Atlantic front will cross us, causing a change in the weather. A fairly cloudy day is expected, with scattered showers reappearing almost everywhere. The day is a day of constant monitoring of the sky, although rain will initially be minor and will not fall all day or everywhere. Minimum temperatures will rise significantly, with less cold in the early hours. In the coming days, we will continue to be under the influence of the weather-worn Atlantic fronts, with rising temperatures and variable weather.

Wednesday: showers return

The passage of an Atlantic front will make the weather more unsettled this Wednesday. Cloud cover will be more abundant throughout, and showers will reappear in almost all areas. Rain will fall mainly between the morning and early afternoon, with precipitation moving very quickly from south to north. Showers will be repeated in the afternoon.

Initially, the weather will be light, with insignificant amounts of precipitation. The rain will only be more intense on the southern side of the Pyrenees and the Lleida Pre-Pyrenees, where rainfall may exceed 10 or 20 l/m² locally. Furthermore, it will not rain all day or everywhere. The Ebro, Ponent, and northeastern Girona regions will be the areas most spared from the rain, although showers are not ruled out.

The southerly wind will strengthen and will be felt strongly, especially at high altitudes, particularly in the Pyrenees. Minimum temperatures will rise significantly, with less cold early in the morning. Maximum temperatures will remain similar or rise further, with cool to mild temperatures at midday. They will only drop temporarily in the Pyrenees, with altitudes once again above 2,500 m.

Towards the Castañada with less cold

Temperatures will rise further in the coming days, with milder nights and mornings and milder middays, leaving many highs between 20 and 25°C. The cold of late autumn will be behind us, but the sky will remain variable, with a risk of some localized, light showers on Thursday. According to current weather forecasts, the Castañada region looks fairly calm and moderately cool.
