LEGO and Playmobil take over Hospitalet de l'Infant

Catalonia's largest joint trade fair takes place this weekend

Vandellòs and Hospitalet de l'InfantNext weekend, L'Hospitalet de l'Infant will once again become a meeting point for construction enthusiasts with the fourth edition of HospiBrick & Click, the largest joint LEGO and Playmobil fair in Catalonia. Last year's fair welcomed nearly 6,000 visitors from the town itself, other parts of Catalonia, and cities such as Zaragoza, Bilbao, Valencia, and Seville. The event will take place in the sports pavilion and will feature over 300 square meters of exhibition space. Visitors will be able to admire twelve Playmobil dioramas and approximately 120 square meters of LEGO creations—forty square meters more than last year—assembled by members of the Somosclicks (Playmobil) and Hispalug (LEGO) associations. In addition to the exhibition area, there will be two specialized sales stands and a play area. bricks LEGO for the little ones.

The ESTEMAQUÍ association, a local organization that works to give voice and visibility to children with disabilities and offer support to their families, will have its own stand to raise funds through the sale of solidarity items.

The fair will also include a painting and coloring area and a children's competition for building LEGO and Playmobil dioramas, aimed at boys and girls up to fourteen years old. Registration – limited to twelve places – can be completed through the link in the QR code on the poster.

New this year, there will be a space dedicated to 3D printing, where you can see LEGO and Playmobil pieces created with this technology and the printers in operation.

Opening hours and 'quiet times'

The fair will be open on Saturday, March 21, from 10:00 AM to 1:00 PM and from 4:00 PM to 8:00 PM; and on Sunday, March 22, from 10:00 AM to 1:00 PM and from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM. Admission will be €2, while children under 10 can enter for free. This year, three "quiet hours" have been scheduled, during which the lighting and noise levels in the pavilion will be reduced to provide a more comfortable visit for neurodiverse individuals and any visitor who prefers a more relaxed atmosphere. These quiet hours will be on Saturday, from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM and from 4:00 PM to 5:00 PM, and on Sunday, from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM.

"With the quieter hours, we want to guarantee a more inclusive and accessible fair, designed so that everyone can enjoy it comfortably, especially people with autism or sensory hypersensitivity," emphasizes the Councilor for Commerce and Social Welfare, Sílvia Pujol.

With their numbered tickets, visitors will participate in daily raffles for various Playmobil and LEGO sets. Furthermore, on Sunday, March 22nd, the Hospitalet de l'Infant and Vall de Llors Business Association (ACHV) will raffle off four LEGO and Playmobil sets. To be eligible for these prizes, starting this Thursday, March 5th, it will be necessary to pick up a passport from the Click Search Game At the Cal Forn Tourist Office or the Town Hall, fill it out correctly and deposit it at the Trade stand at the fair. The passport has already been distributed to students in the municipality's schools and nurseries.

The game consists of locating 11 giant Playmobil figures hidden in the shop windows of 38 businesses in Hospitalet de l'Infant and Vandellòs and noting the corresponding number for each establishment. Children under twelve who correctly complete the ticket will, in addition to participating in the prize draws, receive a free Playmobil piece at the Trade stand (while supplies last).
