The energy that accompanies us "Every day. Everyday", with Naturgy
The company launches a new corporate purpose with the aim of “Facilitating your relationship with energy every day”
Because energy reaches homes every day, Naturgy is launching a new corporate purpose to make it more accessible, understandable, closer, and useful to society. The campaign accompanying this launch reaffirms its ability to fulfill its commitments and to be present in people's daily lives. "Cada dia. Everyday" is the slogan the company is launching, which intertwines with the company's legacy of over 180 years of history.
For almost two centuries, Naturgy has been facilitating access to safe, efficient, and sustainable energy and wants to continue getting closer to society while maintaining the same purpose as always. The company wants to place people at the center, explain energy clearly, and offer real solutions to energy challenges.
The campaign, at a national level, is in line with the company's three corporate values: One team, Continuous evolution, and Being your choice.
This evolution responds to Naturgy's desire to express in a clearer and more approachable way its contribution to society and the role it plays in the daily lives of millions of people. The new purpose is based on three principles that are part of Naturgy's identity: a focus on people, the fulfillment of acquired commitments, and an integrated vision of energy that allows for offering solutions that combine energy security, competitiveness, and sustainability.
The corporate purpose is aligned with the evolution of the energy sector and with the 2025-2027 Strategic Plan. This plan seeks to boost the energy transition through growth in renewable generation; leadership in renewable gases, especially biomethane; the strengthening of distribution networks; the digitalization and simplification of the customer relationship, and excellence in industrial operation.
Jordi Garcia Tabernero, General Manager of Public Affairs and Sustainability at Naturgy, states that "the purpose is the backbone of Naturgy's culture: of our leadership model, our competencies, and our behaviors. It allows us to differentiate ourselves and gain legitimacy because it puts people at the center and places us in the balance between affordable, sustainable, and secure energy".
A campaign with a purpose
The campaign highlights the role that energy plays in daily life and, especially, in Naturgy and its historical contribution throughout the decades: from lighting the streets with the first gas lamp to making it possible for us today to enjoy a hot water shower in our homes with more sustainable energy, sourced from renewable sources.
The proposal seeks to reinforce a simple idea: although energy evolves and transforms, it continues to be present in the lives of millions of people and companies, making possible activities, projects, and experiences that we often take for granted. As part of this brand evolution, the campaign also incorporates a new sonic identity, conceived to reinforce Naturgy's recognition and to transmit in a coherent way the attributes of proximity, trust, and companionship that inspire its strategic vision.
As Adenai Pérez, Director of Brand and Corporate Marketing for the company, asserts, "for Naturgy, energy is not just a service. It is a commitment to society, to businesses and, above all, to the people, whom we want to be closer to than ever. We all need energy, for everything, every day. And this very idea is what has driven us for over 180 years in our daily work and in our commitment to society". This purpose explains "why we exist, what we contribute to society and how we act, beyond the results. We do it by putting people at the center, with a realistic, approachable and credible tone".
"Cada dia. Everyday" traces the 183-year history of Naturgy through stories and situations that range from the most everyday moments to milestones such as the connection of wind energy to the country's entire network or the use of organic waste to generate green gas, to continue focusing on the future challenges of the energy sector.
