This reduces delivery time and facilitates immediate consumption, allowing you to take advantage of fresh products to ensure you get all the nutrients you need for a balanced diet.

How to get involved from home

At home, we can also curb food waste. Simple gestures and everyday actions, when combined, not only reduce waste but can also lower household expenses. Caprabo offers tips on how to do this:

- Plan your shopping: having a clear weekly menu helps you decide what to buy at the supermarket. It's an excellent way to buy only what you really need.

- Check the fridge and freeze regularly: developing this habit allows you to take advantage of the products you already have, preventing them from being forgotten or expiring.

- Freeze the leftovers: good food shouldn't go to waste. That's why, once your stomach is full, it's a good idea to store the leftovers in the freezer.

- Store food properly: pay special attention to fruits, meat products, etc. Make sure they are in the correct place and at the correct temperature so they don't lose their properties.
