University pre-enrollment 2025: how to enroll in July

The university entrance exams for this 2025 will be held on June 11, 12, and 13. Students take the selectivity exam after having ordered their preferred degrees. This list of preferences is made during the pre-enrollment process, and places are assigned based on grades; that is, if there is a greater volume of demand than supply for a specific degree, only those with the highest grades will be able to access those studies. If they do not reach the desired grade, students can enroll in another of the preferred options from their list.

This list is created by the students themselves during the university pre-enrollment, which is announced between June 3 and 30 through the University Access Portal. Once logged in, students can order the degrees offered in all Catalan universities based on where they wish to enroll. Below, we explain how you should enroll in the degree for the June 2025 call, whether you have obtained your first preference grade or not, and at what point.

First assignment enrollment

On Friday, July 11, the first assignment lists will be published, where students can check if they have a sufficient grade to enroll in their first choice, or in one of the other preferences (from second to eighth). For example, if you don't get into your first choice because you haven't reached the cutoff grade, you might be able to enroll in the second. Universities usually contact students and inform them of the established enrollment period so they don't lose their spot in the degree program. In any case, the dates for enrolling in the first preferences are from July 15 to July 18 (both inclusive).

On July 24, the second assignment is published.
