Three men arrested for stealing checks and forging signatures to cash them in banks

The Mossos d'Esquadra (Catalan police) have arrested three men between the ages of 36 and 59 in L'Hospitalet de Llobregat for stealing and manipulating checks to commit fraud, police reported Tuesday. The detainees cashed several checks between April 24 and May 12, defrauding a total of €5,200.
