They find a dead man in a car in a flooded area in les Franqueses

BarcelonaThe Mossos d'Esquadra have confirmed that they have found the body of a dead man trapped inside a car in the tunnel of the North ring road of Les Franqueses del Vallès. He was located by workers from the company that was carrying out tasks to drain the water from some of the areas that are still flooded due to the torrential rains of the last few days.
Police sources have explained to the ARA that the body is pending official identification and an autopsy, which must determine the causes of death. Thus, at this moment the investigation cannot confirm that the accident was caused by the storm, but the police rule out any criminal act.
Les Franqueses del Vallès, a municipality in the Vallès Oriental near Granollers, has been one of the areas most affected by the storm of these last few days. If death by drowning is confirmed, it would be the third fatal victim in Catalonia due to the series of downpours that began on Saturday, following those of Tordera and Montornès del Vallès.
