They find a corpse without head or limbs floating on the coast of Sagunt

BarcelonaThis Monday, the corpse of a man without a head or limbs and in an advanced state of decomposition was found floating off the coast of Sagunto, in Camp de Morvedre, as reported this Wednesday by Efe, citing Civil Guard sources.

For the moment, the police have not yet managed to identify the body due to its poor state of preservation, and several DNA samples have been collected to compare them with the genetic profiles of missing persons in the State.

As reported by the newspaper Las Provincias, the body was found without a head, hands, or feet and, furthermore, was not wearing any clothes. According to initial information, it had been in the sea for a very long time. The discovery was made this Monday from a recreational boat that was sailing through the area. After the alert, a vessel from the Maritime Service of the Civil Guard of Valencia recovered it, and the body has been transferred to the facilities of the Institute of Legal Medicine of Valencia.
